Januario Soares (Founder)

Janu is a dedicated finance professional with a proven track record of over six years at Heineken Timor Leste. His experiences at Heineken Timor Leste provided him with a solid foundation and expertise in various facets of financial management, internal controls and reporting.
Janu graduated in accounting from University of Thai Chambers of Commerce, Bangkok. He started at Heineken Timor Leste as an Account Payable Executive and soon became a high performer. He was promoted as Process & Control Improvement Manager ensuring internal controls were effectively set-up, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) were drafted, implemented and adhered; while identifying improvement opportunities. He is a certified Six Sigma Yellow belt for SOPs and process improvement.
With his deep knowledge about the business, he was promoted as the Accounting & Reporting Coordinator where he sharpened his accounting and reporting skills.
Janu co founded Think Forward Consulting in 2023.
