Think Forward Consulting, Lda. (“Think Forward”) was founded in August 2023 in Timor-Leste by finance professionals with extensive background in global firms such as Arthur Andersen, KPMG, Heineken, PepsiCo and Suntory.

Think Forward is a local auditing firm that pairs Timorese professionals with international experts to ensure a rigorous and comprehensive audit. As a team, we have more than a decade of operating experience in Timor Leste. Our deep country and operating experience put us in a unique position to assess the organization impact through its financial statements and beyond.

Our Partner and Director have extensive experience at Arthur Andersen and KPMG, the global Big 4. Think Forward has adopted audit approach and processes in line with the Big 4. This knowledge and resources, combined with deep Timor Leste operating experience and employing high quality Timorese professionals; makes Think Forward unique. Think Forward is a platform for local Timorese professionals to get jobs and career growth opportunities right here in Timor Leste.   

Our Partner is a qualified Chartered Accountant with more than 33 years’ experience as an auditor and CFO at Arthur Andersen, Heineken, PepsiCo and Suntory. He brought the Heineken investment to Timor Leste and led the business for over 5 years.

Our team consists of qualified audit and finance professionals including certified public accountants with experiences at KPMG and Heineken, a certified Six Sigma Yellow belt for Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and process improvement, who set up all financial systems and processes at Heineken Timor Leste. Together we are committed to providing independent, thorough, and global best in class audit and related services.

We specialize in external and internal audits, process mapping and SOP development, bookkeeping and other related services towards building organizations in Timor-Leste. We believe that strong internal control, clear long-term strategy, great book-keeping and financial processes; are important for Organizations to grow, be effective and move forward in line with Global Best in Class.
